10 Things You Should Ask At The Brisbane Kitchen Showrooms You Visit<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
1. Quality Materials & Finishes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n You don’t want to order a kitchen and only find out when it’s installed that the cabinets are cheap, poor quality imports. Make sure that when you visit each kitchen showroom that you pay careful attention to the quality of the cabinets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 2. Australian Made and Manufactured<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Don’t order a kitchen only to find out that it will take 6 weeks to be delivered. Make sure you ask where the kitchen is manufactured and how long it will take to be delivered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 3. Cabinets Warranty<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n You don’t want cabinetry that starts to crack and peel after only a few years. But if it does start to crack and peel wouldn’t it be nice to know that your cabinets are covered by a 7 year warranty. Make sure you ask whether there is a warranty on the cabinets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 4. Hardware Warranty<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n You certainly don’t want to pay extra for the latest kitchen technology (“soft-close”) only to discover it works for a few years and then breaks. But if it does break wouldn’t it be nice to know your covered by a lifetime warranty. Make sure you ask whether there is a warranty on the hardware.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 5. Kitchen Design Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n I’m sure you’d rather not get your kitchen designed by someone with little to no experience. When visiting kitchen showrooms make sure you ask the kitchen designers about their experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 6. How Long Does It Take<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n You want your kitchen designed, manufactured and installed as quickly as possible. Make sure you ask how long the process takes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 7. What do you use to design your kitchens<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Not all kitchen design software is the same. Old clunky software is much more likely to result in poor quality designs no matter how good the designer. Make sure you ask the designer what software they use and then do your research to make sure it’s good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 8. How much is it going to cost<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n I’m sure you have a budget in mind and you don’t want to find out just before signing the contract that your kitchen is going to cost twice or three times the amount you’re willing to spend. One of the first questions you should ask once you’ve seen the design of your kitchen is how much is it going to cost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 9. Do you use licensed installers<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Everything has gone perfect until the installation. Unfortunately the installer isn’t qualified, doesn’t know what he’s doing and damages your new kitchen. While looking around the kitchen showroom make sure you remember to ask whether they use licensed installers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 10. What else can you do<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Many kitchen renovations involve more than just designing, manufacturing and installing the kitchen. You may need plumbers, builders or electricians. Having to organise and coordinate these trades separately can be frustrating.
